Victorians move to 2nd place, defeating Vikings  

Comilla Victorians have secured another impressive win thereby beating Chittagong Vikings in the 14th match of AKS BPL T20, powered by Shah Cement.

Winning the toss on Tuesday's second encounter, the Victorians opted to field first.

Kiwi batsman Luke Ronchi gave a flying start to the Vikings. He played a great knock scoring 31 off 19 balls. Soumya Sarkar’s 30, Sikandar Raza’s 20 and others little contribution helped Vikings to post 139 for 4 in stipulated 20 overs.

Chasing 140 to win the match, the Victorians lost two wickets for 39. But a 74-run partnership between Imrul Kayes and Jos Buttler set the Victorians for a comfortable victory.

Buttler was dismissed after scoring 44 while Imrul scored 45 with the Comilla side winning the match by six wickets with 11 balls remaining.

Imrul Kayes was adjudged Man of the Match.
