Bangladesh beat Australia by 10 runs to clinch the five match T20i series with two matches to spare on Friday.

Earlier, after winning the toss and electing to bat, Bangladesh scored 127 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their stipulated 20 overs.

Mahmudullah top scored for the Tigers with 52, while star all rounder Shakib Al Hasan scored a quick-fire 26.

Debutant Ellis clinched a hat-trick in the last three balls of the innings for the visitors to restrict Bangladesh posting a bigger score.

In reply, Australia fell short by 10 runs scoring 117 for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs.

Mitchell Marsh top scored with 51 runs while Ben Mcdermott scored 35.

Shoriful took two wickets for 29 runs while Nasum And Shakib settled for one each.

This is Bangladesh's fifth series win and Australia is only the fourth opposition against whom they won a T20 series. Also, it is their seventh consecutive T20 win at home which is still unprecedented.
