Tigers set 240-run target for Pakistan

Bangladesh have set a victory target of 240 runs for Pakistan in the third and final Super Four ODI cricket encounter for place in the Asia Cup final.

Mushfiqur Rahim's 99 in a record partnership with Mohammad Mithun has lifted the Tigers to 239 in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

Losing three quick wickets with just 12 runs on the board, Mushfiqur and Mithun steadied the innings, reports newsonair.com.

The duo were involved in a 144 run partnership for the fourth wicket. Mithun scored 60.

Although  Mushfiqur departed at his score of 99, it was a magnificent innings from him.

The winner of Wednesday's match will meet India in the final at Dubai International Stadium on Friday.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss on the last Super Four match against in Abu Dhabi, and elected to bat first.

According to bdnews24.com, three changes were made on the Bangladesh side.

All rounder Shakib Al Hasan failed to play in the match due to finger injures.

Nazmul Hossain Shanto and Nazmul Islam Apu were dropped.

Mominul Haque, Soumya Sarkar and Rubel Hossain have returned to the eleventh.
