Tigers bowl Lankans out for 222

Bangladesh's spin strength dismantled the visiting Sri Lanka’s batting line up in the 1st innings of the 2nd Test of a two-match series as Abdur Razzak took four on his return for the national side after around a four-year break.

The Lankans managed to put 222 on the score board losing all the wickets.

Kusal Mendis held one end and composed a fine fifty; but the comeback man Razzak removed the well-set Mendis in the first over after lunch to put the visitors in a precarious situation.

Roshen Silva, who has been in sublime form, led the recovery act with a fluent fifty along with some contributions from the lower-order to push Sri Lanka past the 200-run mark, says Cricbuzz.

Taijul Islam bagged four wickets while Mustafizur took two to diminish the Lankan first innings.

Earlier on the day, Sri Lanka opened their innings with bat winning the toss against host Bangladesh in the series decider, reports a local news agency.
