The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan as the skipper for the Test squad.
The decision to replace Mushfiqur Rahim with Shakib was made on Sunday.
According to bdnews24, Mahmudullah Riyad has been chosen as the deputy for Shakib.
The change was anticipated following the Test debacle during the Tigers’ South Africa tour earlier this year.
