Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Thursday announced the 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup, slated to take place in Oman and the UAE.
Along with the 15-member squad, two additional players will tour with the team -- Rubel Hossain and leg-spinner Aminul Islam Biplob, reports UNB.
"We have been doing well in T20Is for a while now. We hope we can do well in the World Cup," Minhajul Abedin, the chief selector of BCB, told the media on Thursday.
The squad: Mahmudullah Riyad, Mohammad Naim, Liton Das, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Afif Hossain, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Mahedi Hasan, Nasum Ahemd, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Taskin Ahmed Saifuddin, Shamim Hossain
