Bangladesh win toss, opt to bowl again

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl first against hosts South Africa in the 2nd and last match of their two-match Test series starting at Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein on Friday.

There are four changes in Bangladesh's XI as they included Taijul Islam, Rubel Hossain and Subashis Roy in place of Mehedi Hasan Miraz, Taskin Ahmed and Shafiul Islam while injured Tamim Iqbal has been replaced by Soumya Sarkar.

This is Bangladesh's 12th encounter against South Africa where the Tigers are missing their two highest run-getters - Tamim Iqbal and all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan -- in the same Test match for the first time since March 2013, when both missed the Galle Test against Sri Lanka, reports UNB.

The hosts replace the injured Morne Morkel with Wayne Parnell who hasn't played first-class cricket since April.

Bangladesh XI: Imrul Kayes, Soumya Sarkar, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim (captain), Mahmudullah Riyad, Sabbir Rahman, Liton Kumar Das (wk), Taijul Islam, Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, and Subashis Roy.

South Africa XI: Dean Elgar, Aiden Markram, Hashim Amla, Temba Bavuma, Faf du Plessis (captain), Quinton de Kock (wk), Andile Phehlukwayo, Wayne Parnell, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, and Duanne Olivier.
