Three-day ICT expo begins

Bangladesh ICT Expo 2017 started from Wednesday at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) to inform the people about remarkable successes achieved so far in ICT sector.

Bangladesh Hi-tech Park Authority of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division and Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) are jointly organising the three-day event, says a press release.

Planning minister AHM Mustafa Kamal inaugurated the flagship event of the country’s ICT sector with a slogan ‘Make in Bangladesh’. State Minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed Palak was also present at the programme as special guest.

Planning minister said that it is necessary to commercialise the 'Digital Bangladesh' to get benefits from it. He also stressed on educating youths by specialised teachers on information and technology to achieve our goal.

The expo will continue until Friday. It is open for all from 10am to 8pm every day. But it is registration at the entrance will be required. There are many booths for registration at the event venue. Anyone can register from www.ictexpo.com.bd.
