A total of 145.11 million people are currently active mobile phone subscribers and 80.48 million people are internet users in the country.

The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) disclosed the data in its statistics updated till December 2017, said a press statement released on Monday.
Meanwhile, Grameenphone is the largest operator with 65,327,000 clients.
According to UNB, the subscribers who used internet data, voice calls or short message service (SMS) within 90 days were considered as active subscribers.
