Int’l Chefs Day celebrated

On the occasion of International Chefs' Day on October 20, Hotel Sarina Dhaka celebrated the day at their Italian restaurant Risotto by paying a unique tribute to the chef community by making the largest pizza in Bangladesh, according to a statement.

Each year International Chefs' Day is celebrated worldwide. The day celebrates chefs and their hard work and compassion that they provide continuously.

This day is also celebrated to spread awareness about eating healthy and a deeper focus on sustainability and a healthy environment for future generations. Every year, a theme is decided for International Chefs Day by the World Chefs.

This year it is 'Growing a Healthy Future'.

A 42 inches pizza was made by the chefs of Hotel Sarina Dhaka and presented to the guest of honour, a renowned chef and executive member of the World Association of Master Chefs (WAMC) Bangladeshi Chapter & the Coordinator of South Asia, Shaheda Yesmin.

A few other associates of the WAMC were also present.

At the ceremony General Manager of Hotel Sarina Dhaka, Krishan Kodippilli, who is also an executive member of the World Association of Master Chefs Sri Lanka chapter (WAMC), the owner's representative Mohammad Ali Chowdhury, Director of Sales Jason Salgado, Associate Director of Marketing Syed Mehran Hussain, and the executive chef Kuldeep Bhattacharjee was also present.

The guest of Honour Shaheda Yesmin gave an inspirational insight into her legendary journey in the culinary industry.
