A young man was killed after a vehicle hit his bicycle in the city’s Wari area early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Tatalu Chandra, 23, of Jatrabari’s Dhalpur area, reports UNB.
Asaduzzaman, a sub-inspector of Wari Police Station, said the vehicle crashed into Tatalu’s bicycle in front of Salauddin Specialized Hospital around 12:00am.
Being rescued by locals, he was first taken to the nearby hospital where he received primary treatment.
As his condition deteriorated, Tatalu was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injury around 1:30am.
The body was kept at the hospital morgue, added Asaduzzaman.
