A training workshop on gender inequality, women and children repression and early marriage began at BRAC regional office in Joypurhat on Thursday.
The workshop has been arranged under BRAC Gender Justice and Diversity Program aimed at sensitizing people to enhance the capacity of the youths to resist gender inequality, child repression and early marriage.
A total of 250 BRAC workers and 2,035 volunteers would be given training under the program.
The training recipients would work at field level against gender inequality, children and women repression, early marriage and sexual harassment.
Gender Specialist of BRAC Malabika Sarker Choity, training coordinator Moshiur Rahman, district BRAC official Aktarul Islam and dstrict manage of Tuberculosis Control Program Atiqur Rahman spoke among others on the occasion, reports BSS.
