A construction worker was killed after being electrocuted at Shahbahan in Tentulia upazila of Panchagarh district on Wednesday.
Quoting witnesses, Zahurul Islam, officer-in-charge of Tetulia Model Police Station, said Azharul Islam, 20, son of Surul Ali of Dargashing area in the upazila, came in contact with live electric wire while working at a local school in the afternoon, leaving him dead on the spot.
