Water levels of 18 rivers mark rise, while 61 record fall

Water levels of 18 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rises and 61 stations recorded falls.

Among the 94 monitored water level stations, 13 have been registered steady, according to a bulletin issued by FFWC on Tuesday.

All the major rivers are flowing below their respective danger levels.

The Brahmaputra-Jamuna and the Ganges-Padma rivers are in falling trend which may continue in next five days, BSS reports.

The major rivers of upper Meghna basin are in falling trend, which may continue in next 72 hours.
