Water levels of 15 rivers mark rise, 66 fall

Water levels of 15 rivers stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have registered rises and 66 stations recorded falls.

Among the 94 monitored water level stations, 11 are steady, according to the FFWC bulleting issued today (Sunday).

All the major rivers are flowing below their respective danger levels.

The Brahmaputra-Jamuna and the Ganges-Padma rivers are in falling trend which may continue in next 5 days.

The Manu-Dhalai river of Upper Meghna basin are in rising trend. Other main rivers are in falling trend which may continue in next 24 hours, BSS reported.

A total of 55mm rainfall was recorded at Kalamganj.
