Water levels in 26 rivers rise, 52 mark fall

Water levels in 26 rivers stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rises and 52 stations recorded falls.

Among the 94 monitored water level stations, 16 are steady, according to a bulletin issued by FFWC on Friday.

All the major rivers are flowing below their respective danger levels.

The Brahmaputra-Jamuna and the Ganges-Padma rivers are in falling trend which may continue in next 5 days, reports BSS.

The major rivers of Upper Meghna basin are in falling trend, which may continue in next 72 hours.
