An outsourced wardboy of a hospital tried to rape a 26-year-old corona patient at Khulna Corona Hospital. The wardboy Nazrul was discharged from his job on Monday. Khulna Sonadanga Model Police arrested him from Hafiz Nagar in the metropolitan area on Tuesday morning.
The doctors at the hospital said that the patient was admitted to Khulna Corona Hospital on June 6.
On the night of June 13, wearing a PPE, a wardboy went to the patient and made a bad proposal. At one stage, he harassed her. As the nurses saw it, the wardboy left the place. Khulna Medical College Hospital Director Munshi Md. Reza Sekender said that the patient was sent for home isolation on Monday with a discharge certificate.
The wardboy has been discharged after receiving verbal complaints from the patient's relatives.
