Three members of United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) were killed in a gunfight between its two factions at Korolyachhari in Baghaichhari upazila of Rangamati early Monday.
The deceased have been identified as Sushil Chakma, Smrity Chakma, and Atol Chakma, reports UNB.
Members of main UPDF and Ganatantrik UPDF locked into the gun battle around 4:00am over previous enmity, leaving the three dead, said Nurul Anwar, officer-in-charge of Sajek police station, adding that another member, Kanon Chakma, was injured critically.
