Police recovered bodies of two young men from separate places in Savar early Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Badal Miah, 20, son of late Siddique Miah of Kaytara village in Mirzapur upazila of Tangail, and Sharif Sarkar, 25, son of late Riazul Sarkar of Kaundia area of Savar.
Being informed by neighbours, police recovered the handing body of Badal Miah from a six-storey building at Savar Bazar bus station in the morning and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.
Two roommates of Badal went into hiding after the incident. He bore injury marks on his neck. The youth might be killed and later hanged with the ceiling fan, police and local said.
On the other hand, law enforcers recovered the body of Sharif from his aunt’s house in the morning and sent it to DMCH for an autopsy. He was a drug addict, police said.
Two separate cases were filed with the police stations in those connections said Mohasinul Quader, officer-in-charge of Savar Model Police Station, reports UNB.
