Two house painters died from electrocution in an under-construction building in the city's Mohammadpur area on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Rajon, 27, son of Saleh Ahmed and Asif, 26, son of Abdul Jalil of Sonaimuri in Noakhali district.
Inspector Bacchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital police camp, said the two workers got electrocuted and fell from a two-storey building when they came in contact with an electric wire while working there around 11:30am, leaving them injured.
Later, they were taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where doctors declared them dead, reports UNB.
