Two people sustained burn injuries in a fire that broke out at a multi-storey house in Dhaka's Banani area on Sunday.
The injured - Sagar, 25, and Himel, 19 - have been admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), said Foysalur Rahman, senior station officer of Tejgaon Fire Service and Civil Defense Station.
The fire broke out at around 8:30am at the 2nd floor flat of the building where accessories used to supply cable connection were kept, leaving the duo injured, UNB reported citing the Fire Service official.
Sagar sustained 65 per cent burns while Himel received 15 per cent, the official added.
