A man and his daughter died in a road accident of Magura district on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Mamtaj Ali, 42, and his daughter Sumaiya, 7, of Harispur village in Shalikha upazila of the district.
Five others were also injured in the accident that occurred after a bus hit a three-wheeler at Kestopur area in Magura Sadar upazila, reports UNB.
Officer-in-charge of Magura Police Station Ilias Hossain said a Jashore bound bus hit a three wheeler around 3 pm killing the father and his daughter on the spot and injuring five others.
The injured were admitted to Magure General Hospital. The bodies were sent to hospital morgue for autopsy.
