Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested two drivers and two helpers of three buses from different parts of the capital city in connection with the Sunday's bus accident that left two college students dead on Airport road.

The identities of the arrestees could not be known yet.

Major Rakib of RAB-1 said the elite force members in an overnight drive on Sunday arrested them from different parts of Dhaka including Mirpur area.

Earlier on Sunday, Diya Khanam Mim and Abdul Karim Rajib, students of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin School and College, were killed as a bus ploughed through some students in front of Kurmitola General Hospital on Airport Road, reports UNB.

Angered by the tragic incident, the students of the college had taken to the streets around midday on Sunday and vandalised and set fire to several vehicles, including the killer one.

A case was filed in this connection on Sunday night.
