At least two people were killed and two others went missing after a truck plunged into in a roadside ditch in Ashulia, Savar in the early hours of Tuesday.
The mishap took place in Ashulia Boro Bridge area near Bypail-Abdullahpur highway.
The identities of the victims could not be known yet.
Police said the brick-laden truck plunged into a 40-feet deep ditch at around 5:30am when its driver lost control over the wheel, leaving four people including the driver and helper missing, reports UNB.
Later, divers from Fire Service and Civil Defence station in Uttara recovered two bodies from the water body at around 9:30am.
