At least 10 people, including two Bangladeshis, have been killed and three others injured in a fire at a carpentry factory in Saudi Arabia.

The Bangladeshis who died in the fire at the factory in Riyadh are Shaheed Sarder, 35, from Shariatpur and ‘Sohag’, 32, from Kishoreganj.

The workshop at Badr district caught fire on Sunday local time, Arab News reported citing a tweet of the Saudi civil defence.

The civil defence did not give any information on the cause of the overnight fire, the newspaper reported.
