Two Bangladeshis were burnt to death as a fire broke out at a fume factory in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on Saturday.

They have been identified as Kamrul Islam, 38, son of Abdul Malek, and Yasin Fakir, 39, son of Odud Mia, of different villages of Chauddagram upazila of Cumilla.

The victims’ families said Kamrul and Yasin used to work at the factory and stay in the upper floor of the building that houses this factory.

The factory caught fire from an electric short circuit on Saturday, leaving Kamrul and Yasin, who were then working, dead on the spot, they said, UNB reports.

Asked when the bodies will be brought back home, the families said it all depends on how much time it requires to complete all the formalities related to this.
