Two Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims have died in Saudi Arabia, according to Bangladesh Hajj Management Portal.
A 63-year-old Bangladeshi man named Md Helal Uddin Molla and 54-year-old Ramuja Begum, who went to Saudi Arabia to perform the upcoming Hajj, died in Mecca on Friday, said the portal, which is under the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Molla and Ramuja hailed from Cumilla and Joypurhat districts respectively, it said.
Deceased Molla’s pilgrim identity number was 1461078 while his passport number was EE0385376, it stated.
Ramuja Begum’s pilgrim identity number was 1395079 and her passport number was BW0843328, the portal added.
