A man and a woman were killed when a truck ploughed through a restaurant at Srirampur in Baraigram upazila of Natore district early Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Shah Mahmud, 55, of Srirampur village and Hasina, 45, of Kayemkhola village in the upazila, reports a news agency.
GM Shamsun Nur, officer-in-charge of Bonpara Highway Police, said a Pabna-bound fish-laden truck ploughed through a restaurant as its driver lost control over steering around 4:00am, leaving two employees of the restaurant dead.
On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to local hospital.
