Four people were killed and seven others injured as a truck collided head-on with a microbus at Ilashpur under Osmaninagar upazila in Sylhet on Thursday.
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.
Officer-in-charge of Osmaninagar Police Station Ali Mahmud said the Sylhet-bound truck collided with Dhaka-bound microbus, leaving four people dead on the spot and injuring seven others around 4:00pm.
Local Fire Service and Civil Defence men were conducting the rescue operation, he said.
The injured were taken to a local hospital, said the OC, reports UNB.
