Two people were crushed under wheels of separate trains in Shewra rail line area in Dhaka on Thursday.
One of the deceased was identified as Arafat Hossain, 45.
Nazrul Islam, in-charge of Dhaka Airport Rail Station police outpost, said that an unidentified elderly man was killed after being hit by a train on a trail track at around 5:30am, reports UNB.
In another accident, a Mymensingh-bound train hit Arafat at around 9:30am, leaving him dead on the spot.
The bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy.
