A young man was crushed to death by a train at Court Railway Station in Netrokona district town on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Mahbub Alam, 25, son of Dulal Miah of Moipukuria village in Kamlakanda upazila of the district, reports UNB.
Borhan Uddin Khan, officer-in-charge (OC) of Netrokona Model Police Station, said Mahbub fell from the Netrokona-bound intercity train 'Mohanganj Express' from Dhaka while getting off from the running train.
Later, he was crushed under the wheels and died on the spot, the OC said.
