A bicyclist was crushed under the wheels of a tractor at Sundarpur under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila Monday morning, reports BSS.
The deceased was identified as Nizam Uddin, 30, son of Ekramul Hoque of Jandipur village under Sundarpur union of Chapainawabganj sadar upazila.
Police said, a sand laden tractor ran over Nizam on the No. 1 embankment of the river Padma killing him on the spot at around 8 am.
Being informed, sadar thana police recovered the body and handed it over to his family after autopsy.
A general diary was recorded with the police station.
