Three workers have died in a road accident at Kashiani upazila of Gopalganj.
The deceased were identified as Bikash Mandal, Mathbindu Sarder and Rabidranath Sarder, hailing from Satkhira district.
The accident took place when a truck carrying the victims plunged into a roadside ditch at Satashia village in the upazila on Thursday afternoon, reports UNB.
Mazharul Haque, officer-in-charge (investigation) of Kashiani Police Station, said the accident took place around 1pm when the paddy-laden truck plunged into the ditch, leaving three workers dead on the spot and five others injured.
