Three siblings have drowned in a pond while playing nearby in Ashtoka village of Karimganj upazila of Kishoreganj.
The deceased are: Jonaki, 9, Chadni, 7, and Safayeat Ullah, 4, children of Helal Uddin of Sakura Tekpara village in the upazila.
The trio along with their mother went to visit their uncle's house in the same village on Thursday last, according to a UNB report.
According to locals, the bodies of the siblings were recovered after those were found floating in the pond adjacent to their uncle's house around 6:00am on Sunday, a day after they went missing.
