The government has elevated three acting secretaries to the rank of secretaries.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Thursday, reports UNB.
The newly promoted secretaries are -- Md Jahir Uddin Ahmed, Chairman of Bangladesh Tariff Commission, Foyez Ahmmed , acting secretary of Health, Education and Family Planning Department, and Begum Shamima Nargis, acting secretary of the Planning Commission.
