Three people were killed and 12 others injured when a bus turned turtle at Mirganj Bazar in Bagha upazila of Rajshahi on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Abu Hanif, 28, the bus driver's assistant, Manwara Begum, 42, wife of Mansur Rahman, and Badal Bewa, 65, wife of Piar Uddin of the upazila.
The accident took place at around 7:00am, reports a news agency.
Police said the Rajshahi-bound passenger bus collided head-on with a trolley before it hit a tree and overturned.
All three victims were killed on the spot, said Mohsin Ali, officer-in-charge of Bagha Police Station.
The injured were taken to a local hospital.
