Three construction workers died at Badda rea of Dhaka when the lift they were using broke down on Friday.
They were working to construct a multi-storied building at Badda when the site's lift snapped and tumbled down around noon on Friday, said Badda Police OC Kazi Wazed Ali, reports bdnews24.com.
Two workers died on spot and another succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital. A worker injured in the crash is also admitted there.
Police were yet to identify the deceased workers. The conditions that led to the accident are still not known.
