Temperatures likely to rise in next three days, predicts BMD

The country’s temperature in the next three days until Wednesday morning may rise gradually, according to an official at Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

Abdul Mannan, a BMD meteorologist, told The Financial Express that the country's highest temperature at 31 degrees Celsius was recorded in Sitakunda on Sunday.

The lowest minimum temperature 11.4 Degree Celsius was recorded at Srimangal, he added. 

In its 24-hour forecast, the Met Office said weather may remain dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.

Light to moderate fog is likely to occur at places over the river basins of the country during late night to morning, according to the forecast.

The trough of westerly low lies over Bihar and adjoining area, it said, adding that seasonal low lies over South Bay.

The sunsets at 5:53 pm on Monday, according to the forecast, while it rises at 6:31 am on Tuesday in Dhaka.
