Train communication of Sylhet with the rest of the country resumed on Wednesday after a one-hour disruption following the derailment of a train in Shibbari of the city.
Earlier, four bogies of 'Surma Mail' train veered off the tracks at the outer signal of Sylhet Railway Station around 1:30 pm, snapping the train communications on Sylhet-Dhaka and Sylhet-Chattogram routes, said Station Officer Md Shajahan.
According to UNB. The rail link was restored around 2:30 pm after the derailed bogies were salvaged, he said.
