State observes mourning day for US-Bangla plane crash victims

The nation observed a one-day state mourning on Thursday with due solemnity in memory of the victims of the US-Bangla plane crash in Kathmandu, reports UNB.

The national flag was hoisted half-mast at all government offices, including the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, Bangladesh Secretariat, High Court and educational institutions, across the country.

Meanwhile, special prayers will be offered at all religious institutions and worship places, including mosques, temples, churches and pagodas, throughout the country on Friday.

Earlier on Wednesday, the government declared a one-day state mourning for Thursday in memory of the victims of the plane crash.
