A schoolboy was killed as a speedy truck dashed his bicycle on Keshabpur-Boga road in Keshabpur upazila on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Saifuzzaman alias Sumon, a Class-VII student of Rezakati Secondary School in the upazila and son of Abbas Ali of Boga-Nehalpur village.
Jahanara Khatun, headmaster of the school, said Sumon was returning home from the school in the bicycle, reports UNB.
The truck from Patkelghata crashed into his cycle around 3 pm, leaving him dead on the spot.
