Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury returned home on Monday from Paris, France, where she attended a conference on Rohingya crisis.
The conference titled ‘International Conference on the Rohingya situation in Myanmar and Bangladesh’ was held at the National Assembly in Paris on Friday.
The Speaker attended the conference at the invitation of France Parliament, said a PID handout.
She addressed the conference as the chief discussant and exchanged views with experts on Rohingya issues, UNB reported.
She also met Madame Carol Bureau Bonnard, first vice president of France National Assembly.
