A five-member panel of chairman was nominated by the Speaker for the 19th session of the 10th parliament on Sunday.
Members of the panel are - Faruk Khan, Panchanan Biswas, BM Mozammel Huq, Fakhrul Imam and Syeda Saira Mohsin.
Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury announced their names at the beginning of the day's business, says UNB.
They will conduct the proceedings of Parliament in chronological order in the absence of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker.
Earlier, the parliamentary session began with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair at 4:05 pm.
