Snake bites youth to death in Barguna

A college student died from snakebite at Mokamia village in Betagi upazila of the district on Tuesday night.

The youth was identified as Gopal Chandro, 23, a third year student of BM College in Barisal, reports BSS.

Family sources said a venomous snake bit him last night when he was returning home from a temple at the village.

Later, he was rushed to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital where the attending doctor declared Gopal dead.
