The Ministry of Land has taken an initiative to set up Civil Suit Management System (CSMS) for managing land-related civil cases online.
According to the ministry, the smart management system will ensure transparency.
Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury took steps to set up a CSMS in July last year following PPA-2006 and PPR-2006 for easy, transparent and efficient management of the civil cases, said the ministry in a statement on Tuesday.
The Ministry of Land signed an agreement with the selected software developers to set up the CSMS.
Land secretary Md Mustafizur Rahman chaired the signing ceremony at the ministry’s conference room in the capital.
Once the CSMS has been set up, there will be no possibility of losing the court information. The smart system also will help to get data on whether the information in the case has been given to the court, how the information statement has been presented and what is the latest status of the case.
The system will also include court counsel so that court dates and orders can be monitored.
