Six BD workers die in Saudi Arabia road accident

At least six Bangladeshis were killed in a road accident in Jeddah of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.

Nazrul Islam, deputy chief of mission at the Bangladesh Embassy in Riyadh, said several others were injured in the accident, reports bdnews24.com.

The victims were on their way to a factory on a minibus, Mobarak Hossain, a Jeddah-based migrant worker, said citing one of the injured people.

The driver lost control of the vehicle and it hit a roadside electricity poll when a tyre burst, Hossain said.

There were 16 Bangladeshi citizens on the vehicle, Islam said.
