Four people, including a woman and her daughter, were killed in separate road accidents on Dhaka-Aricha highway in Savar on Monday.
Two motorbike riders, Nahid Uzzaman and Yunus Ali, marketing officers of Shah Cement Company, were killed as the motorcycle carrying three people crushed under a truck and a fire service vehicle in Rajfulbaria area around 7.30 am.
The accident left another motorcyclist critically injured who later was admitted to Enam Medical College Hospital in Savar.
Meanwhile, a woman and her seven-month old daughter were killed when a speedy bus hit them in Bhakurta Turag Bridge area around 10 pm, said Mohsinul Kadir, officer-in-charge of Savar Police Station.
The identities of the deceased are yet to be known, reports UNB.
On information police recovered the bodies and sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
