Police have arrested the driver and his two assistants of the sand-laden trawler responsible for a passenger trawler capsize that left more than 20 people dead in Brahmanbaria on Friday evening, Prothom Alo reports.
Local people caught and handed them over to police on Friday night, according to the report.
The sand-laden driver and his two assistants were arrested as they were trying to flee after the capsize, Brahmanbaria’s Superintendent of Police Anisur Rahman was quoted to have told the Bangla-language daily.
