Southeastern European country Romania has decided to send a consular team to Dhaka for the first time to issue new and pending visas for the Bangladeshi nationals.
"Finally, the Foreign Ministry of Romania is sending six members Consular team to Dhaka for three months from March 2022 to issue about 5000 visas including 3400 pending visas," Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said in a message, reports BSS.
He also informed that this is the first time Romania is sending such kind of consular mission abroad.
Following a bilateral consultation in October 2021, the Romanian foreign office decided to open a temporary consular office in Dhaka and to organise a three-month delegation.
