A Rohingya man was killed as a tree collapsed on him due to strong wind and heavy rainfall in Jamtoli area of Balukhali Rohingya camp in Ukhia upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Ali, 23.
Nikaruzzaman Chowdury, upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) of Ukhia said the incident took place around 9:30 am when a tree collapsed on Ali during storm, leaving him dead on the spot, reports UNB.
